Need a Letter or Flyer to Approach Your Local Library or School?

Down below, you will find downloadable resources to help you in your advocacy work!  And remember, you asking people to participate in Disability Book Week makes YOU a Disability Advocate! Thank you for showing your support for the disability community by promoting awareness, inclusion, and a culture of celebrating differences!

Getting Library Participation

For ideas on what to say when you ask your library to participate, check out this video!

Remember:

1. Ask for a librarian

2. Tell why you want the library to participate (share short personal story)

3. Leave your contact information

4. Follow up!

If your library participates, make sure to snap a picture for social media and tag us @disability.book.week on Facebook and Instagram!
